This Valentine’s, we’re serving a delicious four-course set dinner menu with cocktails, designed to be shared, savoured and lingered over.
Jes, our head chef, will kick things off with a special take on his roasted carrot tapenade with vadouvan, served as an amuse-bouche to gently awaken the taste buds. Next, succulent shelled king prawns arrive sizzling at the table, with soft, house-made focaccia for mopping and sharing.
For the main event we’ve short ribs of slow-cooked Sussex beef, finished in a rich cherry jus, served with vibrant winter greens and silky pomme purée. Comforting, generous and effortless to eat. To finish with, a warm chocolate torte, simple, indulgent and just right.
